10 years ago, whenever we go to our lola`s house, I would ask my parents what`s that big place called. "That`s UP, the biggest public school in Metro Manila." they said and I didn`t really care.

4 years ago, Kuya Miggy studied high school in that place. He played for the basketball team and participated in the UAAP. I became his fan. And a fan of the school too. During basketball games, I cheered along with the community and screamed, "UP, fight!"

2 years ago, I learned how prestigious that place was. The place was not only the biggest but also the best. And that`s when it all started. I wanted to study in UP and it was one of my wildest dreams.

9 months ago, I took the UPCAT and damn, it was hard. Pressure :/

3 months ago, I saw my UPCAT grade and yeah, I didn`t pass. It was no big deal. Passing the test would be impossible for me. Haha.

2 months ago, I had myself waitlisted at UPLB since my score was within their cut-off. That move wasn`t really one of my plans. I just wanted to spend college years with my friends here and studying at UP would just remain as one of my dreams. But that was just what I thought...

9 hours ago, I found out that I am officially an Iskolar ng Bayan. My dream came true and I still couldn`t believe it. Dreams do really come true.

Am I happy? Not really :(
